This Web Site has several elements of information about the Braley Family and the many other families that make up my ancestry.

Updated: 8 June 2008: To add that in 2004/5 we build a new house on 10 acres of land across the street from the old house where we origionally lived. That land was purchased in 1996 as part of land with the old house.
- Parents of Louisa (Jones) Royce Updated: 17 Oct. 2007: To add image location information for the 1800 and 1820 US censuses of Cheshire Co., New Hampshire, which show the households of Benjamin Jones and his two wives, Mary (--?--) Jones in 1800 and Betsey (--?--) Jones in 1820.
- My Emmons Family Story Updated: 7 Nov. 2003: To add a previously unknown first marriage of Alma Germaine Emmons to a Laymon, they divorced and she later married a Marpe and moved to Seattle, Washington.
- My Deming Family Story Updated: 28 Dec. 2007: To revise the fact that Ralph Deming died in December 1924 in a hit-and-run sledding incident rather than a hunting accident.
- The Story of Emily S. Cole Updated: 1 Jan. 2007: To delete mention that I could not find the date that David M. Hitchcock was mustered out of the 1st Colorado Cavalry, which was later found to be November 18, 1865 at Leavenworth, Kansas.
- My Robinson Family Story Updated: 28 Dec. 2007: To revise the fact that Ralph Deming died in December 1924 in a hit-and-run sledding incident rather than a hunting accident.
- The book Braley Genealogy, The Descendants of ROGER BRALEY, 1696--1913, compiled by George Randall, New Bedford, Massachusetts and published in 1913.

- This book is often also available for a much lower price from an eBay online auction. I bought a copy from a seller for about $29.00. Go to eBay search at: http://pages.ebay.com/search/items/basicsearch.html and search for geneal* braley -- There was a copy of the book for sale the week of March 10, 2003.
- The book History of the Graves and Fletcher Families, Compiled for the descendants of William Plummer Graves and his wife Mary Unity Fletcher, 1903.
- This book is a important resource for the large number of descendants of Joseph Braley, who was married first to Julina Graves in Northfield, Vermont. She died in 1846, he remarried. Several of their children, and eventually Joseph, migrated to the Kellogg, Iowa, area.

Updated: 6 Nov. 2002: Mystery Solved! Searching for Rachel Jackson in the 1880 census, I found her and William Jackson living in the household of John L. Jackson, their son, his wife Mary P. (Capwell) Jackson and two daughters, May R. Jackson age 6, and Mabel C. Jackson age 8 months, born Oct. 1879.
